Brunel Bridge Rail Crossing

Essential maintenance painting works to a 240 metre, 12 inch low pressure Cadent Gas main attached to Network Rail infrastructure in Windsor, including the listed Brunel Bridge over the River Thames. Works also included pipe support upgrades and support for gas main repairs.

Specialist works delivered in a live infrastructure setting

After years of planning and liaison with the many different stakeholders involved, we carried out essential Maintenance Painting works to a 240m, 12″, LP Cadent Gas main in Windsor. The main is located in a Royal Windsor Park and attached to Network Rail Infrastructure including brick archways, a small rail bridge over the Backwater Chanel and the listed Brunel Bridge / Windsor Railway Bridge over the River Thames. In addition to our usual blasting and painting scope, we were tasked with upgrading the old and failing pipe supports as well as facilitating repairs to gas main itself.
